Global Goddess Online Rituals
Global Goddess offers online rituals for members and guests. Our rituals are for women only and the rites are offered by members of our ritual committee. That committee is open to all members.
Many people are curious about how groups could possibly do rituals in cyberspace and I cannot really offer much in the way of information except that they work. When we do ritual and magic, much of what we experience is created in our own minds.
When participating in ritual in person, much of what you might experience is through watching others and the priestess who is guiding you. Online, you have your computer and the women offering the words and "descriptions" for you. So it can be much like an eyes open guided meditation. However, they are participatory as well. When the ritual is well presented the facilitator will keep in mind that you cannot see her and so adds a great deal of description and visual stimulus for you to take in and activate your imagination. You are given instructions beforehand as to the purpose of the rites as well as any work you might need to do beforehand in preparation. You will be asked to have certain symbols and objects, colors, and scents - all designed to enhance the ritual and your senses.
You simply cannot know or judge what your experience will be until you try it. It does involve your very active imagination and full attention. You will be amazed at the level of energy experienced if all of the women are sincere about the work of the Circle.
